Little Miss Annabel {Kait Marie Photography} Norfolk Virginia Newborn

Not for one single second did this little sweetums close her eyes and doze off to sleep. Talk about an

alert and active newborn! Mom and Dad booked a 30 minute mini-session with me, knowing that

newborns typically take well over an hour and a half to fully photograph for this exact reason - no

sleeping shots!  Even though she didn't sleep for us, Little Miss Annabel made direct eye contact with

me the entire time. She was so into my camera and that lovely shutter noise of each snapped photo;

looks like you guys have a model on your hands.

It's precious moments like these that make those late nights, diaper changes, early mornings and

crying fits so worth it all. Congratulations on your new little bundle of joy, Heather & Brian. I
hope I get to see you guys again soon and watch as your sweetums grows!

Matthew & Katie Homecoming - U. S. Navy {Kait Marie Photography} Norfolk Virginia Beach

Even though the lighting inside the Navy Terminal was less than fantastic, I captured some of the
most precious moments last week at this homecoming shoot! Matthew is a part of the same squadron
that my husband is in, so I was extremely excited to photograph this particular homecoming. On top
of that, Matthew hadn't seen Katie's baby bump for the entire three months that he has been gone.
Capturing these sweet faces and sweet kisses is why I love my job! Welcome home, Matthew! That
means my man is right behind you soon :)

Courtney & Austin's Pre-Deployment Shoot - Kait Marie Photography - Norfolk Virginia Beach VA Natural Light Photographer

It's safe to say we didn't have any issues getting Courtney and Austin to cuddle up and act natural in
their photos! All they needed was some help with posing and then I told them to just "be yourselves,
give kisses, whatever you would normally do" and they were so helpful in creating these beautiful
photos! What a fun and easy going couple they were. It was so hard to choose which photos to feature
on the blog because I had so many favorites, but someone's gotta do it ;) I had a blast with Courtney
and Austin. I wish the best to him and all the sailors on the USS Roosevelt as they prepare for a
deployment. Many prayers and good thoughts sent their way.

Megan & Leon Family Photos - Norfolk Virginia Beach Photographer

Megan and I had so much trouble finding a day that worked with her husband's Coast Guard schedule and her little ones' schedule and my photography schedule, but I am SO glad we were able to get something on the calendar!
