Tasha & Christian - Family Photography

Tasha contacted me about getting some photos done before her husband deployed in TEN days. Ten days is not much time to try and squeeze a shoot in, but we made it work! She asked me for mostly candid shots, so that's what I gave her. Those are my favorite shoots. Just telling the client to be themselves and then capturing the special moments and creating art out of their love - there's nothing better.

Tasha and Christian have THE cutest little one with the longest little eyelashes and that made my job so easy! They sat down in the first pose I put them in and I got 4 key pictures that sometimes it takes the whole shoot to get. I hope you guys love their effortless photos as much as I do!

Jessie's Family - Family Photography

Jessie's situation was a little different than most of my typical shoots. She was looking for me to come to her home and take her photos in-home and still make them as fabulous as any other shoot! This presented a challenge to me. You never know what you're going to get when you walk into someone's home as far as lighting goes. If the home doesn't have much natural light, then you could be in trouble. But Jessie's home was ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! Neutral walls, large windows, beautiful cozy rooms - I could not have been happier! We took some photos outside her home and then moved inside. My absolute favorite spot for photos is on mom's bed - the coziest, cuddliest place in the home. And even better, the little ones feel so comfortable there. These are some of the final photos that I had the privilege of taking in Jessie's home of her sweet little ones. Enjoy!

Allison & Matt - Family Photography

I met this cute little family out at First Landing State Park and it was actually my first time there! They introduced me to this perfect mix of beach spots and forest spots. Thanks guys! ;) Not only do they have the cutest little blonde haired, blue eyed little guy, but they also brought their pup along! What characters they were together - Connor and Skyla were so active and it was quite the challenge to get them both to smile at the same time! Dogs smile right? But we did it! With everyone's help we pulled this one off!

Thank you Allison and Matt for spending your Sunday morning with me at the beach! Your little guy is gonna be a heart breaker! =)

Kasey & Mary - Family Photography

If you can't tell from those very first photos, this family has so much fun together! The genuine smiles I got out of them are the reason I love my job. Little Kase was SUCH a ham. It looked like he was teaching a little models class with no students. So many smiles and silly faces capture this little guy's personality! Thanks for sharing your Sunday morning with me guys. =)
